About Our Psychologist

Dasha Lvov [BA(Psych), PostGradDip (Psych), MAPS] is a Board Registered Psychologist, Medicare Provider and Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Achieving an ATAR of 93.00 that placed Dasha in the top 7% of VIC school graduates of her year, she completed her Psychology degree at the University of Melbourne and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology at Murdoch University.

Dasha’s clinical experience includes working with high-complexity presentations in forensics, community alcohol and drug setting and private practice. Dasha has authored varied court reports (Magistrates and Family Court) and has facilitated group therapy.

Dasha strongly values building a trusting environment and a collaborative relationship where people can feel safe to explore their challenges, increase understanding of themselves and their distress, and move towards positive change and growth, building on their successes. Dasha’s treatment plans are individually tailored and goal-orientated towards delivering focused psychological strategies. Dasha employs flexibility in her therapeutic approach: a varied mix of being psycho-dynamically informed, relational and humanistic. She works in an integrative manner drawing on a variety of therapeutic and evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy (ST).
